Memory Care Caregiver

Support residents living with dementia through calm routines, meaningful engagement, and specialized communication techniques.

About the role

In our memory care neighborhood, caregivers create calm, predictable evenings. You will support personal care, redirect gently, and keep residents engaged with familiar, meaningful moments.

What you’ll do

  • Provide personal care and mobility support for residents living with dementia
  • Use dementia-informed communication and redirection techniques
  • Lead or support evening engagement and calming routines
  • Monitor safety in a secured neighborhood and report changes promptly
  • Partner with nursing and life enrichment on individualized approaches
  • Support families with updates and reassurance during visits and calls

What you’ll bring

  • CNA certification preferred; strong caregiving experience considered
  • Experience supporting people living with Alzheimer’s or other dementias preferred
  • Patience, calm presence, and excellent nonverbal communication
  • Ability to work evening shifts consistently
  • Willingness to complete ongoing dementia education
